Excellent all purpose dry bag

Used on a motorcycle trip including a full day in the rain. No questions. My only complaint is that I wish they offered a medium size. This is huge, but compresses well. The material seems to last a long time. Also I don't think the listing explains that the bottom is reinforced with rubber and has a good solid base to stand on and also protect the bottom. UPDATE - 4 years later, after several white water trips and long motorcycle trips. This bag still holds up. I pulled it out for another trip

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Minor issues

Dry, durable, perfect for motorcycles!

This item was a blessing on my 4 month motorcycle tour of South America. I have this dry duffel bag as well as a "dry backpack" that could slide on top (where I kept my laptop and iPad) instead of the traditional panniers like every other motorcycle traveler. This setup worked great! I've gotten into the pouring rain so many times and rode through foggy days getting wet but everything in this duffel bag stayed bone dry. I wouldn't put up with wet clothes and this item fits both the budget and…

There was something like a very small stain on one side and felt.

I have just received this bag and will be returning it immediately. At first there was what appeared to be a very small smudge on one side and it looked like it might need more in the near future. The bag says 110L but I could barely fit the stuff I had in my 90L bag and the bag, despite being the same width, was shorter in length and height than my 90L Bag I bought from Cabela. The velcro on the bag only covers about 12″ 6″ on each side, not the full 30″, making it difficult to roll up…

Keeps you dry, good for luggage and travel gear

I bought this for our M/C trip to Key West. We got caught in the rain by .a lot. We left on the first day, but everything stayed dry here. I used a cargo mesh bungee to hold it on top of our 2017 FLHTK Tour Pak, and while it's not perfect for that, it worked great during our two-week, 3,800-mile, eight-state vacation trip. The bottom is a bit odd, with a sturdier hull shape that you wouldn't typically associate with a duffel, but that's not a problem. We stuffed two smaller, more traditional…

Best dry bag I've ever used

I'm a kayaker and regularly do 2-3 day kayak trips. I have used many dry bags, most are good but all had 2 major drawbacks. First, they were vertical dry bags, meaning you have to empty the bag to access anything below. Second, they simply weren't large enough in diameter to accommodate my military modular sleep system. This sports bag solves both problems. It has the advantage of being a duffel bag, which makes accessing a single object much easier. Second, I ordered the XL and it's more than…

Keeps my motorcycle gear dry! Just download!

We've searched everywhere for dry bags with a large enough opening and capacity to fit our motorcycle gear in the back of a pickup truck. Our other dry bags (Sea-to-Sea, Summit) are of good quality but they only open at the end and we couldn't fit a helmet even in the largest size. The motorcycle bags we found were very expensive, had ugly flashy graphics, and weren't waterproof. This bag is the perfect solution. Construction and fabric are superb with durable reinforcements and heavy duty…

Rare Quality!: Travel Luggage and Gear

I've had dry bags that I've carried for 25 years including a large LL bean bag with backpack straps that fits into almost everything I have. And lots of small screw top stuff sacks etc. But for a canoe trip through the Allagash Wilderness waterway I needed a certain size and shape. It seemed fitting, so I ordered it. When I got to Maine and met with the Maine registered guides who were supposed to be leading our group, I was surprised that they were using the same bags as this one. That's a…

VERY good inexpensive bag holds many things

I bought a very large one and the price is very impressive. I've had it for almost a year now and have used it many times, strapping it to the back seat of my Honda ST1300 or to the (aftermarket) rear trunk of my Suzuki DR650, either way it works very well. I have used it on rally bikes to hold my tent (large 7kg Redverz), sleeping bag, pillow, hammock, hammock stand, chair and a few other items - it held everything and kept it dry despite the rain while I was rallying drove. Used it on 2 hikes

  • brings joy
