This item was a blessing on my 4 month motorcycle tour of South America. I have this dry duffel bag as well as a "dry backpack" that could slide on top (where I kept my laptop and iPad) instead of the traditional panniers like every other motorcycle traveler. This setup worked great! I've gotten into the pouring rain so many times and rode through foggy days getting wet but everything in this duffel bag stayed bone dry. I wouldn't put up with wet clothes and this item fits both the budget and the purpose! It still has plenty of life after heavy use. It can be folded up so it's big, or you can roll up the top if you don't have a lot of stuff and it's not that big.
