The winter before last there was over 2 feet of snow in Northern Colorado and my husband and I spent most of the first day riding back roads and helping out folks tow away from snow plows. We stay on the main roads. We used a similar cheaper D ring for towing cars and it was perfect for this application! We have since elected to keep one in our FJ and Tacoma cruiser for emergencies. an added bonus for me. The FJ has limited cargo space so we often use different hitch mounts for different purposes - the sway bar was just what I needed to reduce wobble on some of the heaviest mounts. Buy again this is a great looking hard wearing kit.
