Simple design works very well. The tip you see is really hard plastic, so some upside down bottles will slide so that the corner of the bottle balances on it, not the middle. It's fine except for a bottle with pronounced "shoulders" like a bottle. In these cases, water collects in these shoulders. So the tip will probably need to be made of a stickier rubber to hold the center of the bottle. This is a minor issue. If you need one of these, buy it. This is tremendous value, especially when compared to the much more expensive models sold in specialized wine catalogues. Please note that wine and other narrow-necked bottles take a long time to dry.
