Review on Precision in Your Hands: Astro 218 8 Inch Pencil Grinder Unveiled! by Wayne Drakh

worth every penny and more

Great for the price, gets a little warm on the head but not uncomfortable. A bit quick for cheap 1/8 bits but any decent Dremel will work even better with one of these, they are also extremely versatile, can go from engraving to carving cutting to sanding in no time and making them all a pleasure. Easier to control than electric and takes a lot of pressure to stop torque at 105psi. While it uses quite a bit of air, it fully justifies the hassle of an air compressor. Makes less noise than an electric rotary tool and you can hold it like a pencil for better control and precision when using it. It weighs next to nothing but can actually use a longer air hose than the one that comes with it. The factory packaging is not very good, just a cardboard box. The best part of the packaging in my opinion is that it comes with a chart of the tool parts.
