These are good shovels and they do the job. However, they are NOT truly flat. Rather, they have one side that is less round. But the less rounded side really helps and doesn't just clog like some of the other buckets I've bought so the "less rounded" part doesn't rust or collect more dirt. I have a really flat bucket that I bought years ago and I love it. I wish I could find properly flat buckets again, but I couldn't. There is the next best thing. Three stars for claiming the wrong flat side; Otherwise they meet my requirements and are well made and I will probably buy them again. Unless I can find really flat buckets somewhere else.
