Review on 🛹 MAXPRO Skateboard Deck Guards: Durable Rubber Protectors with Excellent Grip Nose and Tail Guard for Longboard Edge Protection by Sean Moran

These deck guards are pretty cool. First of all great price. Easy installation and configuration. Check out my photos how it fits in a traditional downhill board. My board has fairly deep wheel arches and as a side effect these areas are too thin to protect. I had to cut them to size. They can be sized to quickly cut a sharp, heavy razor. I would practice the first or two cuts by snipping off a small piece and leaving the rest longer than necessary, but they can be cut without exposing the metal of the clips. After about a week of fairly heavy use on my electrics I flexed one of the boards and was seriously disappointed but the clamps flexed back and clamped again. Excellent protection. No mounting hardware required, which is good if you hate drilling holes in your prized soundboard. (Yes) the only downside is that they can "stretch" a bit with frequent use, but as mentioned the clips can be bent back. It's just a compromise between something that can be easily removed and replaced with something with mounting hardware. I will definitely rely on them for all my boards.
