I used them when my son who was learning wanted to drive my car. We have used them several times. My ex gave me another one and it didn't stick to my car when wet, these stuck to my car with no problem, even if there was some dust on my car they still stuck. I took them off when my son wasn't driving so can't say if they leave marks on the car over time, not intended for long term use anyway. The only problem I had was that I wish they were bigger. They're a little bigger than a regular bumper sticker so they're not immediately noticeable so I put 2 on the back of my trunk. Otherwise, it was a great way of allowing beginners to step back a bit and give the newbie a chance to learn.
