Review on Dorman 599-210 Climate Control Module: A Perfect Fit for Select Vehicle Models by Eldrick Carlton

Update October 18, 2018 Bought again. My previous one only lasted 6 months. My original just had blown bulbs so I'm replacing them. This second one worked right away with no programming (wow!). Should they only last 6 months? It is "Made in China". How many of these should I buy to get a good one? ? ? ? ? March 21, 2018 --- My device is working very well. However, the manual says my 2005 GMC Yukon XL 1500 requires no programming, so I installed it. Then I found that my fan selector was not working. I got the impression it was defective. I then followed the device programming instructions for another group of GM vehicles. I followed the guide and put the ignition key to 'Run/Accessory', pressed 'Circulate' and 'AC' at the same time and after 16-20 seconds let go and both lights were flashing. The device worked normally, all buttons worked. I had to use Plug n Play for my car right away. For that reason I should have given 4 stars but no. Just note that you may need to program independently of the instructions to simply hook it up to a 2005 GMC Yukon XL 1500.
