
We bought this router 6 months ago and it worked fine with a few imperfections. I've had issues with this unit turning off Wi-Fi every day for the last month or so and it's still under warranty. Each time we have to unplug and plug the cable or unplug and plug the cable back in to get it working again. I emailed the company and the support told me to restart the device, which I did, but that didn't solve the problem. Now they don't return my emails. I also see that Revain's reviews have been steadily declining since I bought it in December 2017. $150 is a lot for a router that lasts 6 months. After 3 more emails the company finally agreed to replace the unit but I have to send it back and wait for them to receive it and then send us a new one. Ridiculous! I have teens and data limit. How can they expect us to be without a router for more than 2 weeks? Bad society! Addendum: I got a new device in the mail a week ago, set it up and thought it should be good. He falls at least twice a day. At first I was concerned with the company that the router base and power strip would get very hot, but they said it was normal. Doubtful as I'm having the same issue with this brand new setup. I think I'll have to throw in the towel and get another brand. Amped is a bad product!
