I had a previous version of this recorder which I still use today and in two years I've had minimal problems. This item was ordered as a refurbished machine, but it broke within 24 hours of using it. So I can't say much about that. This review relates more to the third party that sold it to me. Within 3 days with some communication interruptions, the seller (California based point of sale) complied with the return and expedited my return. They also refunded my shipping costs in full, so I only lost time setting it up, disassembling it, repacking it, and shipping it to the UPS store. If I see their name again on an order I will have no hesitation in doing business with them again knowing their business practices reduce risk.
