Nice short bit. Overall length is 2 1/4 inches, 1 inch long, 3/8 inch shank, center point extends 1/16 inch beyond the flats. Shaft has a flat surface. Used it in poplar and cherry without breaks. Suitable for Blum hinges with a spacing of just a few thousandths. Worth the money - remember this is only 50% more than a non-carbide tip and it stays sharp many times longer. Highly recommended.
