I bought these lamps to give my bedroom a soft ambient light. They were easy to hang and came with adhesive hooks to attach directly to the wall. They look great when they're lit and when they're not they blend into my white walls and it's hard to tell if they're there. I love that they can be blacked out and stretched/rolled out for as long as you like. You'll need to point the remote directly at the sensor on the plug for it to work, so plan on plugging it in a convenient spot. I hope they last long! Edit: The second day I used them, they stopped working properly. You will not burn.
