I never wrote anything but based on the reviews I read about this product before I bought it I had to. This is SO easy for my little beta tank, it's amazing. I read the instructions once, watched a video from another review and just used common sense. The product depends on gravity. As long as the hose is below the water level in the aquarium, everything is fine. My tank is ok. 2 feet above the chair I used with the water collection bowl. I had enough hoses to make sure the bit curve was below the water level, I sucked with my mouth and just watched the water being sucked into the hose. I didn't even have to use my thumb to stop the water as the bowl/bucket went through the pipe and down. I was able to completely remove the gravel from Gary's (our beta) tank without removing it. Please note: We have a NANO tank that is approximately 1 gallon. Water maybe, but more. I did a 50% water change to remove the plant debris with properly treated/tempered water. water and he's as happy as can be. I hope this review helps resolve any concerns or questions I had about this product prior to purchasing it. I will not only use it for gravel cleaning but for all water changes in the future as all nano aquariums need regular proper cleaning for healthy fish with minimal removal of fish from the original tank. For less than $5, you can't beat this product.
