Review on πŸ€ Clover Takumi 9-Inch Single Point Knitting Needle, Size 8 by Crystal Johnson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent needles! for knitting and crocheting

In love with natural wooden or bamboo needles. I quit knitting many years ago because metal knitting needles seemed unaesthetic to me, and plastic needles, don't even ask. Takumi makes the best bamboo needles I've found: sharp, consistent, smooth, and pleasant to the touch. Work with. You get a lot less tired of big projects. Some knitters may not like the very smooth surface of well-finished wood, but with the exception of very fine threads/yarns, I'm a totally natural knitter now. For people who have trouble with extremely slick needle surfaces, Knit Picks (available from Revain or their direct website) make a "square needle" to help with fine, delicate silk yarn or similar. I would like Clover to make a similar product out of bamboo with smaller needles.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No paint required
