Definitely not "easy install". Be prepared to grab some elbow grease. The sticks are very strong (3M duh 🙄) That being said I bought an 8' and it came with 3 foam super small activator pads so they deteriorated very quickly - this suggests you quickly wipe the area with the activator -Pad - MAYBE I was able to apply the activator to 1/2 of the surface that needed it 🤷‍♂️ I hope the activator is mainly for those who don't prepare their surface well. Overall it looks great 👍 and I don't have to worry about scratching my keel 😁————Banded the boat 2 times and hollowed out the shield alligator protection, send me a new one for free. I'm not looking forward to the contractions but they protected my keel and they live up to the advertised guarantee 💪💪
