I have young children - I can't hold sharp sticks at eye level with other children, let alone hot metal around a fire. We make many fires while I burn bushes after clearing our large yard. Needless to say, I need a solution to keep hot dogs from falling and my little ones from getting injured so easily. These will fit. I hope someone comes out a little longer. We make very hot big fires. They are very long - don't get me wrong - but the longer the better so you don't burn your little hands in the big fire.
