They were the best I could find and at a good price. I wish they were a little longer and sturdier but I'm used to the old ones which were very long and had thicker metal. They work great and I really like how they stretch and fit in the pouch that comes with them.

These roasting sticks are fantastic! Because the end of the stick is U-shaped, the fried treats won't fall off. They also have a clever attachment in the middle of the stem, so they move halfway in length for storage. I liked them so much that I bought a second set for our campsite in addition to our backyard fire pit.

Finger holes drilled at odd angles. Arrived slightly bent (not the shipper's fault) as they were clearly made with a slight bend. I think to try to open and close them a little harder. Great idea but poor execution in QC. The metal parts are held together with three tiny spot welds. I suspect this product will not last a lifetime. But what can you expect for this price? I have young children - I can't hold sharp sticks at eye level with other children, let alone hot metal around a fire. We make many fires while I burn bushes after clearing our large yard.
