I bought these because I'm new to cycling and didn't want to pay $60-100 for new shorts and they do the job perfectly. I've used them on a couple of 20 mile rides and always had a sore bottom afterwards but I figured that was the case and other than that they're pretty comfortable. I bought a pair of black bibs for $40 and have never had sore skin after wearing them. The padding on these shorts is quite large, but that also makes them a little less comfortable. I weigh 120 pounds, I'm 5'5" and a size small.
