Great USB 2.0 hub for deploying, running and organizing my USB peripherals!

First eye-catcher: black aluminum housing with integrated wall mounting flange. Looks good with rubber feet. It has (12) USB 2.0 Type A ports and (1) USB 2.0 Type B upstream closest to the status LED. The CE FC compliance logo is prominently located on the bottom of the USB 2.0 hub. The hub has a 3-wire connector plug for auxiliary power supply with an included 7-24V AC power supply. Cable B is also included in the main package along with a small package of mounting plates and screws. Product Operation: This product has met my expectations, it is a 12-port USB 2.0 hub that supports my used USB 2.0 peripherals. including a PC webcam, (2) external hard drives, USB mouse, and (3) USB drives used with the Windows 8.1 operating system. Although I didn't have to use all 12 USB ports, my speed was around 300Mbps, which is normal for high-speed USB 2.0 signaling. I didn't need to use an external power supply as the external USB hard drives used were Western Digital nameplates; This would be necessary if I use peripherals with higher power consumption. Pros of this product: The hub looks a lot bigger than it actually is, it's very compact but well built so it can be mounted either on a wall or on a table. Big. Because the USB ports are on the back of the hub, I was able to connect my connections in a much more organized way. I didn't lose any information or device speed while transferring data. ADVICE. While the USB ports are conveniently grouped for connections, it's helpful to have a zip tie on hand to prevent the cables from getting tangled and falling apart in any way. .The 3 wire terminal block is detachable and should only be present when using an external power supply. Final Notes: I work with multiple computer systems and computer peripherals every day, this hub was definitely a plus with the older USB 2.0 hardware we were using. lies in the organization of our office. This is a good all-around hub for managing USB peripherals. Special note: This rating was not requested by the seller of this item.
