Review on 🚲 Dynaplug Micro PRO Bicycle Tire Puncture Repair Kit-10 Pieces by Kenny Rossi

These little guys work

About 9 months ago I switched to tubeless (Schwalbe Pro One 700X25mm with Stan's Tire Sealant). Instead of a spare hose, I had a DynaPlug Micro Pro repair kit with me. This worried me a bit because the Rapier set was new and untested to me. About 5 days ago I had a flat tire that was too big (1/8 inch +-) for Stan's sealant. Given the nature of the hole, the cut, I assumed glass was the culprit. One of my problems with DynaPlugs was getting the brass tip and wick into the tire at low tire pressures, which didn't have enough resistance to insert the plug. I suspect the tire pressure was around 20-40psi at the time the connector was made. I'm happy to report that the fork went straight into the insertion tool. I cut the fuse with a handy blade, rotated the tire so the hole was down, then added air with a CO2 blower. Some sealant leaked out of the puncture, but the pressure held up to about 80psi. I then drove 15 km for repairs. There was some pressure loss and additional leakage of sealant, but the plug held. To quantify the integrity of the repair, I inflated the tire to 100psi at home and let it sit for 12 hours, then checked the tire pressure. This was at 92 psi. After 24 hours it dropped to about 80 psi. Five days later the pressure is 60 psi. That's enough for me. DynaPlugs are expensive, but they work in the conditions I've encountered. Edited on August 1st, 2020 More than a year has passed and the pressure is still on. I had a second piercing two weeks ago and put a second plug in the new hole. The same great result.
