I love this set but the capsule is so hard to open

The tolerances on the capsule are so tight I can't open my capsule to get the corks and tools inside. Unfortunately, I found out about this when I had an apartment and had to improvise to get to my destination. I probably won't buy this version again, it's not worth the extra cost over the plastic version.

Perfect for any occasion.

Design and attention to detail alone says a lot about a product and the folks at Dynaplug got it right. It is clear that this was a well thought out product. The attention to detail impresses. The pictures are accurate and include everything you see. I suggest going ahead and buying additional forks to have them ready.

High quality, light weight and not cheap

Used a cheaper version of this repair kit. The problem is that the "Bacon Bucks" keep drying out, so I switched to the Dyna Plug. I used a cheaper version and it worked really well and I expect the Dyna Plug will work too. My biggest concern with these products is that the repair plug will dry out, but Dyna Plug says if this happens, "just wet the plug and it will revert to its pristine condition". We'll see, but unfortunately my tubeless street tires don't deflate that often.

  • Decent performance

These things, carried in a saddlebag for a long time, fall apart. unusable.

It was interesting to try this. But it just didn't work. The little pointed brass tabs don't attach well enough and will rattle in your wheel (after you use them) which can't be good for rim tape or carbon wheels. After a period of non-use, the tips came loose in the case. The small aluminum capsule was neatly tucked away (to avoid dangling in your pocket). It does not matter. I had to use it, opened the capsule and found a mess. None were whole. Return to "Side of Bacon" corks from Genuine…

The best tool in your pocket!

I recently rode my bike 105 miles. Shortly after starting the ride, I had a flat tire right in the middle (25mm tire width). The sealant I use mostly filled the puncture, but occasionally it spilled out and I lost a few pounds per square inch. After driving about 60 miles I decided to try my Dynaplug tablet. This was my first time using it and was a bit nervous that it would make things worse. In the process I fixed the hole, plugged in the plug, cut it off and was able to drive the remaining…

A must for on-road tubeless repairs

BACKGROUND: I ride 10-14,000 miles a year, all tubeless and about 20% gravel/gravel. I run Compass (Panaracer) 700c 35mm tires which are made from natural rubber and cotton and OrangeSealCycling 32oz tubeless sealant. Your experience may differ from other brands. REVIEW: I've been using this Dynaplug Dynaplug MICRO PRO tire repair tool for about two years (since going tubeless on my Gravel/Adventure bike) to repair bike punctures and I'm very happy with it. A plug will seal well in holes from…

These little guys work

About 9 months ago I switched to tubeless (Schwalbe Pro One 700X25mm with Stan's Tire Sealant). Instead of a spare hose, I had a DynaPlug Micro Pro repair kit with me. This worried me a bit because the Rapier set was new and untested to me. About 5 days ago I had a flat tire that was too big (1/8 inch +-) for Stan's sealant. Given the nature of the hole, the cut, I assumed glass was the culprit. One of my problems with DynaPlugs was getting the brass tip and wick into the tire at low tire…

Works great if you follow the instructions

I was very happy to find this tubeless bike connector kit. I bought it and put it in my saddlebag ready for my next piercing. Today after a 60 mile journey I had the opportunity to use this tool. Unfortunately it didn't work! Although in theory it was the ideal tool for this situation, I later learned that the inserts must be prepared before inserting them into the insertion tube. You must carefully remove the stopper from the tray it is kept in, wet it and roll it between your index finger and
