I have used these in nest boxes for my chickens. They seemed immediately comfortable and they are very easy to pull out and clean. Basically I can only shake them off from the outside. They're a little messy to cut, but it was pretty easy with a good pair of scissors. It seems every chicken had different ideas about other "natural" liners, they either ripped them or left them. They all seem to leave her alone so hopefully they last a while. So far I'm very satisfied and I haven't had any damaged eggs.
