Have you ever liked rolling out dough on a piece of plastic? Whose idea was that? Thanks Tupperware, but NO THANKS! Just try taking the dough off the plastic and placing it on the cake in one piece! Just bought this wonderful candy fabric to replace the one my mother bought in 1956 and then "inherited" to me. I used it for many years until it finally showed holes from years of use and washing in the washing machine. This substitute is the real deal (they used to be called "oilcloth"). Simply unfold on the table, dust with flour, roll out the dough. Fold the dough into quarters, it will pull right off the sheet of dough, then spread on a tart, quiche or whatever. Shake excess flour from the fabric into the sink, then throw it in the washing machine. "Dead easy"! Sometimes the "OLD WAY" is still the best way!
