I moved into an apartment last Spring that has a small kitchen with very little storage (I store all of my pots and pans in my big oven and use a large counter-top oven), and have wanted a pan that can multi-task like this one. I even got rid of my mismatched hand-me-down ones that took up too much space. This one will be my go-to for soups and stews, pasta sauces, and roasting whole chickens.In attempting to fry a few potato slices with the pan dry, it seemed it wasn't really browning (the two anemic slices in my photo show that). I will be using a little bit of oil as a small drop remedied that. The pan does have excellent even heat, and I look forward to trying cornbread in it soon. Love it!
