Review on 🚪 Maxpow XC90 Liftgate Struts 2003-2014 Supports 6133 SG315018, Pack of 2 - Tailgate Shocks Hatch Lift Struts Compatible by Ben Barrington

1/2 inch longer than stock for my 2010 XC90 and about 1/4 inch longer than the wide open sunroof easily fits. I found it impossible to pull the retaining clips straight out or symmetrically and I didn't want to pull them all the way out, in WAYNE's case they would fall off and get lost and for fear they would be difficult to reattach. Together, these issues made installation a little tricky. The one I installed seems to be charged. Even if one of the 10-year-old originals is still worn, the sunroof opens fairly quickly and resists closing. I'll wait until late autumn to install the second new one (the originals don't work well even in the cold). If I did it again I might try the cheaper ones.
