I will give a mixed review and offer application assistance. First, this product is now something of an industry standard and an upgrade from the standard putty. I like its sticky quality, but its installation can be tricky. The paper carrier does not want to give up the product. It breaks into small pieces that you have to separate from the product, while the sticky quality of the product constantly sticks to your fingers, making a huge mess. A 5-minute job turns into hours of frustrating paper shredding. I recently had to remodel my roof and bought 4 rolls and after the first roll was a nightmare I came up with a HUGE tip that will help many of you if you decide to go down this route and use this product, the rolls use to freeze before! At any temperature above 60, the putty will have the consistency of used chewing gum. It sticks to paper, your fingers, and anything you accidentally touch. It still retains grip after freezing but is much more forgiving. It detaches from the paper with one movement and, if placed in the wrong place, can be pulled out and moved without much effort.
