I think it's the matte finish that makes them look so good but the quality is great too. I only do some print jobs with cheap products, but when I want something to look great I pull out the Spidermaker stuff as soon as I'm ready for the "final cut". I don't know what they do differently but this stuff is my favorite. This thermoplastic is very soft so I print at 10mm/s and 230 degrees to keep everything smooth. I'd say give it a try, but Spidermaker is hard to come by, so I'd rather keep it to myself (laughs). Seriously, try their matte PLA first and you'll love it. I don't always print with Spidermaker materials, but when I do the product looks great. Hope that helps.
