BACTERIA AND MOLD. BUYER BEWARE

My husband's hair and upper body have had a musty smell for some time. Since he works as a breakfast/lunch restaurant manager at a newer upscale coffee shop, we still figured it might be the smell of 50 hour cooking a week. We fought it with every tool we could find online, including apple cider and white vinegar hair washes and leave-in treatments, baking soda mixes, and even shaving almost all of his hair. Nothing worked. Despite months of trying, I recently took a shower and threw his shampoo on the bottom of the planter, cracking the lid. To my surprise, the shampoo, which was supposed to be clear, looked like the bottom of a swamp. Black-green with black dots. MOLD/BACTERIA. Now I know what the smell is. I called Paul Mitchell customer service and to my surprise they were all fakes except the ones sold in hairdressers or the generic bottles sold by discount stores but they claim the label has a face of Paul Mitchell, so we unknowingly buy a shampoo that we have no idea about. what it actually contains, including unacceptable levels of bacteria and fungi. Fakes copy their entire label and resell it as if it were real, according to customer service. Paul Mitchell has sued her several times, but it's better for her to just pay the fine. BUYER BEWARE!
