Works great so far. The paint they come with is only to prevent corrosion prior to installation. I stripped the paint with paint remover and cleaned the headers with mineral spirits, then painted the headers with grid silver paint. Got these headlines for a small block Chevy 92 350 swapped for my 91 Grand Wagoneer. I went with a short tube because of potential gap issues, but there's plenty of room. The O2 sensor connector worked fine when I installed the Holley Sniper EFI which requires it at the same time. As for the performance or sound increase. Hard to say considering I did the EFI and electric fan rebuild at the same time. I'd say the engine sounds good and there's definitely more power, but how much of that goes to the manifolds? Probably a small portion. The color is holding up well so far, although it has a wrinkled texture in some places. I'm pretty sure it's due to my own cleaning and painting and not header issues. would recommend.
