Review on 🐝 Beekeeping Calibration Reference for Tri-Scale Refractometer by Carl Durant

Absolute HUM from CHINA

I usually start my reviews with the positives. I will not mention this list for a long time. Pros: Comes with a hard carrying case and calibration tools. Cons: The light-gathering lens is soft and will wear out to the point where a paper towel will stick to the lens if you try to clean it. This leaves 0 ways to delete it. You now have contaminated samples from each subsequent sample. If you can't erase it, you won't be able to be precise. Eye protection is tough and maintaining eye relief is not easy. Which reduces accuracy and readability. Final Verdict: I could go on and on about inferior and inferior materials, but you really do get what you pay for. And with this tool you pay for a ONE TIME USE. Mine hasn't calibrated. The lens melted and hardened. I don't recommend buying tools you can't use. At this point, it's not even worth sending it back for another one that's no doubt the same design and cost. DO NOT BUY THIS if you don't need items to write off taxes then buy a ton of these as you could write them off as a loss. At best, this CHARACTER FROM CHINA will give me cancer
