UPDATE: I do not recommend these towels at all. The amount of fiber they lose is potentially dangerous. We've pulled soft ball-sized clumps of lint out of our washer and dryer, just like some of the photos others have posted here. Shortly after washing/drying before use, our dryer started making a grinding noise as if the motor had failed. It's only a few years old, so we called the manufacturer's service center to inspect it. In fact, there was another clump of fibers from these wipes that got stuck in the belt and caused the noise/performance degradation associated with the imbalance. At the suggestion of an appliance mechanic, we took a blower and hooked it up to the dryer's exhaust hose to blow more lint out through the vent in front of our house. So much lint came out this way because the vent was completely blocked. My husband cleans it every 2-3 months and we clean the dryer lint filter after every use. An external valve has never been clogged like this, and this is a fire hazard. We will use them until they get dirty and go in the trash. I will not buy from this seller again - terrible quality. Like some of the other reviewers, I had insane fiber/lint loss, which was absurd - several big handfuls in the washer and dryer, and the fringes didn't look good after washing and drying. There's no bad smell, but they seem to be horribly poor quality for the price.
