I have mixed feelings about this processor. I did some research (laughs). The processor is about 7%-12% faster than the fx 8350 and only a few Mambo can run it (I have one of those). It uses a little more power and runs a little hotter. for $99. I made the jump. Having received it before installing it, I decided to read people's opinions about it, which immediately caused buyers to repent. People have said it's incredibly power hungry compared to the CPU power, AMD actually recommends a 1000w PSU (I have a 750w PSU), incredibly hot! So great. More money needs to be thrown in for this thing to run smoothly. Read more reviews people have said it works great with a 750w power supply ok so mine doesn't work well when it burns it burns. whatever :/.after I installed it. Fuck all the haters lol. I love this thing, it's a beast! Totally worth $! My PSU works fine (for now) and my EVGA 240mm CLC keeps it pretty damn cool. I don't regret playing with him! If I burn my PSU, I like to upgrade it. Update: after a month of playing with this processor. Typically my electric bill is between $37-$40 a month. Since everyone says the CPU is consuming power, I was expecting a slight increase. My bill was $34. I have made 0 lifestyle changes. So this processor might be a gluttonous pig, but I don't see any change in my electricity bill.
