Almost perfect for dogs

With a few tweaks they are perfect for my 15 year old Labrador who can't walk without them. I tried 7 other types of grippy dog socks and booties. I have found that soft socks "impregnated" with rubber are most comfortable for them and allow for the most normal gait (as opposed to stiffer outsoles). Others I've tried just don't hold up (even with separate Velcro). straps) and are often not long enough. They're better because 1) the velcro is attached (wish it was sewn on instead of using a button because I'm afraid the button might get uncomfortable) 2) they're a lot bigger so I put the velcro over the Ankle can fasten together. (the curved part of the hind leg) that helps it stay in place. There is a bit more length to wrap with velcro to prevent chafing. I added another inch of stretch fabric at the top of each sock so I have more room to roll them up like a bobby sock. this ensures the sock stays on your skin and the stiff velcro never touches your skin and prevents the sock from slipping. This is by far the best I've found!
