OK I ordered it when my husband and I went on a cruise on 03/15/2020. Bought this in case we were stuck on the ship chained to our cabins for about 20 days and someone on the ship got Covid 19. Well, the cruise did not take place because of the coronavirus and was eventually cancelled. (This was the first day of the ban). I could have sent it back but thought it was time to start a small collection of games at our Snowbird home in Florida and I'm glad we did. After a few days of social distancing I opened it up and convinced my husband to learn to play backgammon again. We play every day and I find the set very comfortable. He walks over to my little stool that we use as a table when we sit outside. The magnetic pieces hold in place very well and the 'Checks' come in a reusable and resealable plastic sleeve. My husband plays chess and I don't, so we haven't discovered these pieces yet. I wish the chess pieces came with some sort of bag to put them back in once opened, but I'm sure a zip-top sandwich plastic bag would work just fine. Even appreciate the doubling cube for the backgammon set. All in all if you are looking for a small set to play chess, chess or backgammon then this is a great option. If you are looking for something not so portable then you might want to check out the large sets as this one is small. It's worth the money and I would buy it again. If you want to send a couple a quarantine gift, this gift is perfect.
