Review on Carlson Quality Brake Parts 16055 by Jason Ampongan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Ideal for replacement

I lived in the Great Lakes region and had this particular car in the cold, ice and salt for 3 winters. Oh how I hate salt. It affects almost all metal components of a car. After going back south I had to work on the brakes and one of the components that didn't hold up very well were the lower caliper pins on the front brakes. The caliper bolt covers did not protect against salt and the lower bolts on both sides were badly rusted. When trying to pull the pins out, the boot broke on one side, I had to buy new ones. These boots fit perfectly and will hopefully prevent my new pegs from rusting anytime soon as they were a bit tighter than the ones I've been wearing for 10 years. Being in the south right now it might not be that bad, I'm just glad my brakes are still working properly now.
