Exactly what I needed and as described!

Exactly what I was looking for, the ones I got from the parts store were a bit big and didn't fit the slide, they did the job perfectly.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Negative gift

Perfect fit for 4th Gen Outback

This is what you need to rebuild the front disc brake caliper pin for 4th Gen Outback. Both sides, compared to the $36 per side of the OEM kit. Works for me completely.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • For old

Fits Subaru Outback 2011

This kit is an exact replacement for the original Subaru parts, front and rear. My rubber boots and bushings buckled after using synthetic lube from the parts store. Also good quality.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

Good quality slide pin boot

The slide pin boots were a bit tight for my calipers but I was able to stretch them and adjust them to my braking system. This is a good quality item. It may or may not be comfortable for you, but it gets the job done.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Disappears

Perfect Fit - 2003 Subaru Legacy Outback Wagon

Perfect Fit - 2003 Subaru Legacy Outback Wagon - GT Limited (294mm rims). Tried to buy from the dealer but all they sold was a "seal pack" with caliper seal, dusters etc for $35 per wheel. They fit perfectly and put some preload back on the slide pins (the old boots were probably original). The length of the boot and the fit at each end (pin and caliper) was spot on, which surprised me.

Pros
  • Brilliantly Made
Cons
  • So far so good

Ideal for replacement

I lived in the Great Lakes region and had this particular car in the cold, ice and salt for 3 winters. Oh how I hate salt. It affects almost all metal components of a car. After going back south I had to work on the brakes and one of the components that didn't hold up very well were the lower caliper pins on the front brakes. The caliper bolt covers did not protect against salt and the lower bolts on both sides were badly rusted. When trying to pull the pins out, the boot broke on one side, I…

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Availability for replacement
