UPDATE! The manufacturer's customer service was amazing, they sent me a new tube that was much softer and more flexible than the one it replaced. They also sent me a shipping label to return my original. Apparently there was a problem party. It happens. Bad situation, but it happens. I am pleased, please correct your rating to 5 stars. Your customer service speaks for itself! Original message: The end was not properly crimped onto the tubing. When I received the hose it wasn't fully on the brass end but I foolishly didn't send it back. After about 1 use per month (that's about 4 uses since purchase!) the end suddenly and very unexpectedly detached from part of the hose, resulting in a slight tear in the hose at the brass connector end. Gasoline splattered first, then poured over me less than a second later, soaking my clothes, cell phones, wallet, car, my neighbor's car, and both of our homes within a 15-foot radius of my location. My neighbor smokes and is almost always outside, taking a dose of nicotine, happy the wind wasn't blowing that way. it could kill me and my neighbors, wreck ours properly, or seriously injure me with FULL BODY burns if there was a fire because I was completely soaked. I will contact the manufacturer and see what they plan to do with it, will post updates.
