Although this wire appears to be made of quality material, I want to do some homework first. I bought two 25ft runs to adjust subwoofer placement and needed the extra cable length. Now I'm not an expert, but judging by the results of research after the fact. It takes min. 18 AWG wire or 1mm conductor. I was a bit disappointed when I found out that this cable only had a 0.65mm or 22 AWG conductor, but that explains the slight degradation in the sound quality of my subwoofers after switching to this cable as I previously used a 12 -AWG solid conductor wire.
