Description of Mediabridge ULTRA Series Subwoofer Cable: 25 Ft Length, Dual Shielded, Gold Plated RCA Connectors - Black

Ideal for connecting subwoofer speakers to audio components, such as stereo receivers or sound systems, while offering excellent bass response and flexibility. Low-loss, wide spectrum coaxial cable great for the low-frequency signals produced by subwoofers, allowing for deep and precise audio quality. A split-tip center pin ensures high contact pressure and signal strength, while unique gripped molding and corrosion-resistant gold-plated RCA connectors provide a consistently tighter fit than commonly rolled cables with wider tolerances. A copper clad center conductor, dielectric insulation, aluminum braiding and 2 layers of foil shielding, for maximum protection against the hum/static encountered when multiple devices are in close proximity of each other. The cable is finished in tough, yet pliable PVC jacket with color coding, for easy routing and quick installation. This cable is backed by Mediabridge's Limited 1 Year Warranty. Includes adjustable & reusable Velcro cable strap for easy organization & storage.

Always reliable cables from Mediabridge

I've used many subwoofer RCA cables in the past and most of them exhibited noise or had loose, ill-fitting connectors that caused a lot of hum or wouldn't stay in place . Not so with Mediabridge cables. They've become my go-to cable, be it RCA, HDMI or whatever. Put simply; They make cables that just work! Glory to Mediabridge!

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

I'm very pleased that companies like Mediabridge bring unmatched value and quality to the market. I've been using this cable for about 70 days, running a Klipsch R115SW alongside a second R115SW and a THX certified MonsterCable. There is absolutely no difference in sound quality. The build design feels just as good, and the materials feel better with the MediaBridge. There is nothing better than paying 1/4 the price for the same result.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel

on par with other competitors

I was skeptical that it would meet the highest quality cable specs, especially at 25ft. To my surprise, there was no noticeable hiss, hum or distortion to amplify with my 650W powered subwoofer. The double shielded cable prevents electrical interference and remains flexible for routing if required. I still prefer wired as Bluetooth runs on 2.4G and can cause problems if it runs on the same frequency alongside your WiFi.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Too long to wait

Although this wire appears to be made of quality material, I want to do some homework first. I bought two 25ft runs to adjust subwoofer placement and needed the extra cable length. Now I'm not an expert, but judging by the results of research after the fact. It takes min. 18 AWG wire or 1mm conductor. I was a bit disappointed when I found out that this cable only had a 0.65mm or 22 AWG conductor, but that explains the slight degradation in the sound quality of my subwoofers after switching to…

sound quality - accessories and consumables

First inspection of the goods, the quality is generally excellent, now the sound, after connecting to my subwoofer it hums, I have two subwoofers, pl 200 and polk psw10, I thought the problem is the amp of one subwoofer, plugged into another, same problem, changed cables and used my old cable and my own, and no hum, no hiss on both subwoofers, however you no longer use your subwoofer 25ft, hookup cable. I don't have time to request a refund or replacement from amazon.IE: My gear: Martin Logan…

Great cable for the money!

I bought this cable to replace my old subwoofer cable in my home theater surround system as my old cable is not sending the right signal. For some reason my old cable worked for a while, then my bad cable fell out from my subwoofer, I was able to disconnect/reconnect and it worked for a few minutes and then disconnected again. After doing some research he pointed out a faulty cable so I grabbed the Revain in search of a cheap replacement and this one fit the bill. This cable was a few bucks…

I have now bought 4 of these. You are good!

I bought three of these Priors but have now bought a fourth they are so good. I bought a 25ft cable to use with an RCA capable retro VHS camera as I do retro streams with as much niche retro stuff as possible. The cable is of very good quality and offers good analog signal transmission despite its length! They're obviously not fully designed for use with AV-RCA, but they get the job done. Pros: 1. Strong, well-designed cable2. Good clean analog media 3. All packaging is recyclable! No tons of…

Excellent product for the price

I have to admit I was skeptical about this product. When I saw the price and the length of the cable. At first I thought no way, that would be garbage. I guess I'm used to buying Monster Cable products. I no longer need cables. I'm not even sure if Monster Cable is still available, but I've always preferred the brand. I suspect that like most people, you always assume you get what you pay for. That's why I always buy more expensive cables because of the sound and quality. I actually bought this

Audiophile Quality at a Bargain Price

You don't have to shell out money for audiophile quality cables and this product proves it. I'm too cheap to pay what some companies charge for audio cables. I want good sound and I fully understand the importance of a quality cable. I'm using it to connect my Klipsch KSW12 to my Yamaha 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos AVR in my new media room where the subwoofer is further away than before and this cable helped me. I did go over the length a bit so I was concerned that the extra cable would be invincible…

Just the facts and nothing but the facts, ma'am

You've reached the point where you've researched every detail of the 'sound system' you're about to assemble. You now know who Steve Gutenberg is, what ATMOS, Dolby VISION, HDR, 4k, HDMI 2.0 -> and a billion other terms are that will make your daughter or anyone unlucky enough to beg for sleep. If you have increased your internal debate budget by 1 or 2 subwoofers or HSU or SVS subwoofers then you have got to a point where you are now working on connections - should I use RCA or XLR - what…
