Clean nutrition in the food
My macaw has been eating this food for almost 20 years. The vet told me that when I got it. He's still healthy and strong. I give him treats and snacks (fruits, vegetables, nuts, etc. in limited quantities) but that's all he needs. I've tried several different sized pellets and for some reason he prefers the smaller ones. I think the formula is the same for all pellet sizes. I would recommend getting small packets of different sized pellets to see what your parrot likes best.
