My parrots love Rudybush. I fed organic food but it froze in their bowls and they nibbled on it every now and then. By the end of the day I had gotten rid of most of the pellets. Roudybush is a good healthy alternative that my birds love! Absolutely no food waste!

My cockatoo loves this along with California Blend and Harrisons. Roudybush used to make "big ones" but for some reason now only offers minis and mediums. Corky used to enjoy enjoying the big one, licking it until there was nothing left, but he was used to the medium. Smile, Linda Salem, Oregon

My 15 year old parrot loves them! He was recently rescued and was formerly on a feed free parrot seed mix available at any Wal-Mart or pet food store. I switched it to fresh bird chop, bird bread and these pellets. He loves her and has become much healthier than he was.

I LOVE this for my cockatoo and her vet too. When I picked her up she was on a bad diet. It was difficult to change it, but I made rice cakes with it. I mashed them, mixed them with boiled rice, eggs, clams, shrimp and vegetables. It was like meat, so she ate it with no problem. After that she ate it with no problem.

I finally got the right size with medium granules. The descriptions aren't very clear and it's hard to tell from the picture on the website. Big Boy and Little Girl love these pellets, but they get a lot more than these. I add fresh fruits/vegetables and some foods like sesame sticks, walnuts, peanuts and other goodies and nutrients. In my opinion too expensive.

My macaw has been eating this food for almost 20 years. The vet told me that when I got it. He's still healthy and strong. I give him treats and snacks (fruits, vegetables, nuts, etc. in limited quantities) but that's all he needs. I've tried several different sized pellets and for some reason he prefers the smaller ones. I think the formula is the same for all pellet sizes. I would recommend getting small packets of different sized pellets to see what your parrot likes best.
