Review on MOOG Chassis Products K6536 Pitman by Andrew Gomez

Buyers should exercise caution with replacement parts

I ordered this along with the intermediate arm and intermediate arm bracket (all Moog) for my 2002 GMC Sierra. Moog makes great products and that's all I use in my cars or cars I work on for friends. This item was in a Moog box when it was published, but is not a Moog product. Looks like a stock GM drop arm that someone tried to restore. This has happened to me with other parts of Revain and I'm a little frustrated. I disassembled the truck, ordered a quick shipment of parts and now I need to find a replacement locally and find time in a busy schedule to ship the broken arm back. Revain is good with returns but goes as far as requiring at least one item from each order to be returned because it has been used or even is a porcelain imitation like the bearings I bought last month. I don't think it's worth the good price. Just go to your local parts store and pay a little more, at least you know you're getting the real deal and not useless junk. Come on Revane, you can do better if you want me to keep working.

Pros
  • Loose or worn undercarriage parts can cause premature tire wear
Cons
  • Dull packaging
