Firstly, I would like to point out that the "GE" marking on this product makes no sense. GE has long since given up this line of business and licensed its brand. In this case, they licensed their brand to a company that put them on a piece of junk. There are two main problems with this extension: 1) The 2 inch cable is almost inflexible. The extension cord is rated for 15A, and it's entirely possible to meet that spec with a 2-foot cord that's able to bend. You literally cannot lay this extension horizontally as the cable will not let it lie in that position. 2) The bushings have poor manufacturing tolerances. They are a bit small, but just large enough that the polarized plug cannot be fully inserted without using excessive force.
