6 Irons Reasons to Buy a Chi-Iron

This is my first experience with a Chi-Iron. I was impressed by its looks and features. This is a well designed and durable iron, but let me address 6 reasons why I love the Ironclad: 1. Ceramic soleplate vs. stainless steel. I have used stainless steel or stainless steel irons in the past but have found that they have static issues and I have found that the Chi Iron works better with good steam and/or heat distribution. With Chi.2 you don't have to worry about preparing clothes. Solid, comfortable grip. If you iron frequently, you'll appreciate the Chi's lightness (only 2 1/2 pounds) and easy gliding of the iron, unlike other older or traditional irons3. More holy than you - 300 holes in the soleplate distribute the steam evenly and look great on clothes.4. precision and caution. The auto-off function is beyond the scope of my previous iron. If the iron falls on its side or on the soleplate, it will automatically shut off after 60 seconds. I think that's important in today's distracted world. The iron will also turn off automatically if not used for 30 minutes.5. Water Fill Door - The water fill door lifts up and there is a funnel at the bottom through which water is added. Not only is this a more attractive design option, it's also a more design-oriented way of adding water as well as avoiding drips or spills. Note: If you have very hard water, it is better to switch between tap water and distilled water.6. 2 year warranty - yes, limited. However, in most cases the product is covered if there is a manufacturing defect. BUT WAIT. EVEN MORE This iron comes with a nice long 12 foot cord that won't kink or tangle. There's even a velcro strap for easy storage. Iron settings are easy to understand. Choices are linen, cotton, wool, silk, synthetic and min. (The minimum setting is in the top right corner where the iron needs to be set to connect and disconnect). The dial moves smoothly and there is a slight click at each adjustment. There is an adjustable steam lever above the dial. You can choose levels from no steam to too much steam. This device can produce really good vapor. I recommend keeping the instructions. They not only advise on the functions of the iron, but also give tips on ironing, ironing and ironing, fabric facts, care and cleaning (the iron has a self-cleaning function). The word "Chi" can mean many things, such as air, breath, and life force energy, as well as the balance of positive and negative energy. For me, the Chi Iron has made the mundane and unwanted task of ironing much more enjoyable, and rightly so. I recommend!
