This little gem saved the day after my cat escaped from a plastic cone and ripped the stitching. He seals the wound on her shoulder, preventing her from reaching the cut. Because the fabric is soft and comfortable against her skin, she's not obsessed with taking it off. The velcro is strong and will not come loose. As you can see in the 2nd photo it's a bit big for my 8 lb cat but so far (two days) it hasn't loosened and has slipped off.
