We bought a medium sized collar for our 12kg cat but she managed to get out of it. We then bought the small one but she could still lick her wound from behind so we put the medium one under the small one and it worked great! This is a great alternative to a plastic cone or inflatable donuts! Our cat can eat, drink water and sleep much more comfortably.

Not a macho color but perfect for Archie. He did not complain about this after he was neutered on 10/6/20 at 6 months. This calmed him down a bit from his cat antics, but at the same time allowed him to be a kitten. He slept in it all night. Without doubt. You can eat and rest with it. It was comfortable and did what we needed. We still have a few days left of this 14 day stretch. and he heals beautifully with it.

That's nice. But it's very easy for my cat to reach the thigh and tail. If your pet just had something on their back or near their head, that's fine. But not the back end as they can still get there because that's how they get erased. I even tried large and medium. But she can still get to her butt. So not good for someone who is going to have a leg amputated.

This little gem saved the day after my cat escaped from a plastic cone and ripped the stitching. He seals the wound on her shoulder, preventing her from reaching the cut. Because the fabric is soft and comfortable against her skin, she's not obsessed with taking it off. The velcro is strong and will not come loose. As you can see in the 2nd photo it's a bit big for my 8 lb cat but so far (two days) it hasn't loosened and has slipped off.

This cone is simply a lifesaver! One of my cats has allergies that literally tear her skin open. This cone protected her and helped her recover until she stopped itching and had no scabs. She didn't like wearing it, but she was able to eat, drink, and do other daily activities with the cone. The cone is very easy to clean and also air dries well. I highly recommend it. The only trick I learned to keep them from falling off (because my cat has a very smooth coat) was to leave the collar on while

Used in a 'cloak' configuration on our 13 lb cat to avoid scratching the scab around his neck . Worked fine initially but he kept licking the collar making it slightly wet but still bearable. He looked so cute and was mad at us. Then he soaked it in drinking water and it got really gross so we took it off, washed it and threw it in the dryer. It may have shrunk a bit - or maybe it was because it was a little tighter the next time I used it in a cone configuration. That's when the shortcomings…
