Bought to drill a hole in a quartz countertop. Worked great and got me through low pressure drilling in about 5 minutes. The price is unbeatable compared to the so-called well-known brands and the chisel is still in good condition after use. If you find that the depth of the project you are drilling is greater than the drill bit you are using, take a smaller drill bit and sand down the surface to be drilled. Tilt the drill bit and gently knock it off by grinding the surface, reinsert the full size drill bit and finish the job. Remember to use water, but in small amounts. I used plumber's putty and rubbed a little in my hand to make a circle and then made a ring on the countertop. Then I poured some water into the ring and started drilling. If it dries out, just add a little more water. If this is your first time drilling through quartz or granite, make sure you angle the bit first so it doesn't slip. What I did was first cut a template out of a piece of plywood and then glued it to the counter to make a perfect hole, using this method the hole was exactly where I wanted it.
