So they do exactly what they're supposed to, although initially I thought they were both useless. After reading the reviews others had the same problem so I made a short video. I followed the instructions to create my own combination 7371. Although it worked, I couldn't close the lock after encrypting the combination. This is what you do with traditional locks like lockers to prevent people from walking by and opening it. To actually lock this padlock you have to be on your combination (7371 in my case), click on the padlock and then encrypt your combination. Because it took me so long to figure this out I gave the product a lower star. I hope this helps someone!
