The pans look strong, have good heat distribution and are of good thickness. My problem is that the rivets don't sit exactly on the inside of the pans. They stick out too much and there is a small gap between the rivets and the inner surface of the pan where the food gets stuck making it difficult to remove. This is a good way to attract bacteria. I've had all plated and other stainless steel cookware and all have rivets on the inside that are pressed onto the surface. I contacted the manufacturer who responded quickly and I sent them an inspection kit only to be told their pans are like this. So they have confirmed that this is the quality they offer. Also, be sure to buy from a JL Hufford seller as you may be charged a very high restocking fee. They charged me 50% of the cost of the set which was around $300.
